Al Asyl pledges to give 10% of its earnings to orphanages across Morocco
Al Asyl has deep roots in Morocco - the company aims to give back to the most vulnerable members of the society who are currently the growing number of abandoned infants and disabled children. It is estimated that approximately 46,400 children were deprived of a home and were living on the streets in Morocco in 2011 (Child Rights Governance Programme).
Independent orphanages, such as, the Association Enfance Espoir of Marrakesh have been set-up in order to provide a safe and secure environment for these children to grow, develop and prosper. However, organisations such as these rely solely on charitable public donations in order to be able to operate and provide those under their care with sufficient food and basic equipment.
Al Asyl pledges to give 10% of its earnings to orphanages such as the Association Enfance Espoir to ensure they continue to care for abandoned children.
